Rose M. Urtado Arellano, age 66, passed away on Tuesday, November 14, 2017 in Corpus Christi, Texas.
Rose was born on August 24, 1951 in Corpus Christi, Texas to Enrique Urtado and Eva Luna. She will always be remembered for her playful personality in nature, being a loving mother and a caring person. Rose is preceded in death by her husband Santos Arellano Jr. and her son Santos Arellano III.
She is survived by her son Gabriel Arellano (Christina); her grandchildren Adrianna and Anthony; great granddaughter Kimberly; daughter in laws mother, friend, caretaker Doris Dahlen and numerous brothers, sisters, nieces, nephews.
Visitation will be held 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. on Sunday, November 19, 2017 at Corpus Christi Funeral Home with a Rosary to be recited at 7 pm that same evening.
A Funeral Service will be held at 12:30 p.m. on Monday, November 20, 2017 at Corpus Christi Funeral Home.
Interment will follow at Coastal Bend State Veterans Cemetery.
