Roman Felan, Jr., age 72, passed away on March 13, 2017. He was born on September 11, 1944 to Roman and Juanita Felan. He graduated from Roy Miller High School in 1963, where he played football. He enjoyed playing the guitar and accordion.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Roman Felan, Sr. and Juanita Felan, brother, Isidro Felan and grandson, James Calderon.
Roman is survived by his six children, Roman Felan, III. (Dorthy), Joe Felan (Lucy), Corina Alvarez (Jesse), Gina Hinojosa (Jesse), Tina Davila (Roberto), and Isabel Cabrera, Eighteen grandchildren, Sixteen great grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild, two brothers, Guadalupe and Juan Felan and four sisters, Lucinda, Rey, Pat and Rosa.
Pallbearers will be Joe Felan, Jesus Hinojosa, Jesse Alvarez, Jesus Hinojosa, Jr., Roberto Davila Sr., and Roberto Davila, Jr.
Visitation will be held on Friday, March 17, 2017 from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Corpus Christi Funeral Home with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. that same evening.
A Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, March 18, 2017 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church.
Interment will follow at Rose Hill Memorial Park.
