Michael Derek Denison, age 52, passed away on May 22, 2017. Michael was born on June 22, 1964 to Odulia Palacios and Donald Denison in Long Beach, California. Michael was employed by Redi Services, LLC in Odessa, Texas.

Michael was fascinated with theology. He received his Bachelor's degree in Theology from the Shalom Bible College where he graduated Magna Cum Laude; a Master's degree in Theology where he graduated Magna Cum Laude; and further received a Doctorate of Divinity where he graduated Summa Cum Laude.

Michael enjoyed shooting pool, playing foosball and had a great sense for adventure. He loved to travel and visited numerous places. He will always be remembered for his great stature and infectious smile. Although his stature was intimidating, once you got to know him, you would soon find out he had a big heart.

He is survived by his daughters, Jaclynn Nicole Denison and Mariah Michael Denison, mother, O.P. Malone, step-father, George Malone, father, Donald Denison, brothers, Roland Stimson and Kelly Malone, numerous nieces and nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and his sweetheart Regina Newkirk.

Visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. on Sunday, May 28, 2017 at Corpus Christi Funeral Home with a prayer service beginning at 5:00 p.m.
