Jesse Robert Botello, 68, son of Abraham and Anita Botello was born February 5, 1949, in Robstown, Texas. He entered his eternal home on Thursday, January 18, 2018, surrounded by his family and friends.
He was raised in Corpus Christi and attended Lamar Elementary, Wynn Seale Junior High and graduated from Miller High School class of 1969. He became a welder, worked for various companies around the coastal areas including Weatherford. Robert enjoyed many activities, but he was a true blue Cowboy fan. He is preceded in death by his parents.
He was a proud father to Priscilla (Rene) Rodriguez, Jesse Robert “Robby” Botello, grandfather to Samantha, Stephen, Sybrena Botello, Joshua Gil, Justin Villarreal, Jarryd Rodriguez, Eyan Allen; his “Little Tarzan” great grandson Brayden Castanon; also survived by his one brother Paul (Lori) Botello; sisters Mary Helen (Cliff) Turner, Isabel Castillo, Yolanda (Greg) Pope, Eva (Jim) Culpepper, Priscilla Botello, Sandra (Richard) Santana, Susie (Richard) Bennetsen, numerous nieces, nephews and lifelong friends.
Visitation will be held from 5 pm to 9 pm on Thursday, January 25, 2018
at Corpus Christi Funeral Home with a Rosary to be recited at 7 pm that same evening.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 am on Friday, January 26, 2018 at St. Joseph Catholic Church.
Interment will follow at Seaside Memorial Park.
