Heriberto H. Cano, age 89, passed away on November 16, 2017. Heriberto was born on January 1, 1928 to Platon and Soledad Cano. He retired from Thomas Spann Clinic as a Maintenance Supervisor for over 20 years. Heriberto loved spending time with his family, barbeques, fishing, tending to his yard, wood work, but most importantly traveling with his wife of 65 years, Hortencia.
Heriberto will always be remembered for his quiet nature, love of travel, devotion to his family, especially his wife, beautiful art and the ability to fix anything.
Heriberto was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, uncle and friend.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Hortencia, his son, Heriberto Cano, Jr., his granddaughter, Debra, grandson, Daniel Joseph, parents, Platon and Soledad Cano, brothers, Jesus, Dionicio, Ernesto Cano, and sister, Socorro Flores.
Heriberto is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Delia and Daniel Mora, grandchildren, Erica (Steve) Moreno, Chris Flores, Elizabeth (Jeff) Martinez, Heriberto Cano III and Paul (Cayla) Cano, 9 great grandchildren, Danielle, Alyssa, Brianna and Catheryn Flores, Lilah and Carter Martinez, Emalynn Moreno, Preston and Charlotte Cano, loving sister, Margarita Cano de Martinez of Reynosa, Mexico along with many cousins, nieces, nephews and friends whom he loved dearly.
Visitation will be held from 5:00 P.M. until 9:00 P.M., Tuesday, November 21, 2017 at Seaside Reid Chapel with a rosary to be recited at 7:00 P.M. that same evening. A funeral service will be held at 11:30 A.M., Wednesday, November 22, 2017 at Seaside Reid Chapel. Interment will follow at Seaside Memorial Park.
