I can’t believe it’s going to be ONE YEAR! I miss you SO much....our late night talks and you just being the best listener without judgement. I just went through pics from the last few days of your life and all those memories are coming back. I will always live those days like they were yesterday. My heart breaks at times cuz my mind can not comprehend that you are gone forever. I don’t wanna believe it, but it’s reality.

Thinking about you a lot this week. Keep thinking about going to Corpus, but I cannot imagine going and knowing you won’t be there. Sometimes I catch myself not wanting to go some places because the last time I went was with you, sister, your SonIL, and Marcus. All I keep thinking is that we needed more time. One more year would have been good, or just through Christmas would have been nice. I know you came back for us even if just for a short while. I will never be able to thank God enough for that. Lacey bear reminded me the other night that you love me, always did.

They got your truck running today!!! She drove it, she called to tell me as she was driving...I said...lil ol you driving that big ol thing! We laughed.
I miss you Father. I wish you were here. I’m typing this as the tears welp up and smoking a cigarette. Ha! You’re anti smoking speeches to me! I haven’t cried since before I saw the kids because my heart has been SO FULL since then (Thanks for all the signs, bringing us together, the memories, and to a future.), but I’m having a moment right now. THEY GOT YOUR TRUCK RUNNING TODAY!!! I’m almost dying cuz I wanna call and tell you...you’d be so thrilled!!! But you’re smiling from afar no longer suffering and that’s some comfort, but knowing I will never see you again is what hurts most.
