Yolanda Sabsook

Yolanda Del Carmen Gray Sabsook, age 69, passed away on January 3, 2019. Yolanda was born on February 7, 1949 to Lucilda Thomas and Cleveland Gray.

She graduated from University of Panama and received her P.H.D in Spanish education. She attended high school in Jalaeula Costa Rica in 1967. Yolanda was employed by McConnel Correctional Facility. She belonged to the Caribbean Women’s Club.

Yolanda will always be remembered for her love of laughter, quiet nature, sense of adventure, service in the community and devotion to family. She was a loving mother, sister, aunt, cousin.
Yolanda is preceded in death by brothers Rodolfo, Rogelio, and sister Carlota.

Yolanda is survived by husband Mayo, children Deika and Odette, sisters Eloisa, Claudette and Jeanette, grandchildren Leah, Kyron, Jordan and many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Friday, January 11, 2019 at Corpus Christi Funeral Home.

A Funeral Service will be celebrated at 12 noon on Saturday, January 12, 2019 at Corpus Christi Funeral Home.

Interment to follow at Rose Hill Memorial Park.
