Yolanda Alvarado

Yolanda Alvarado, 58, of Corpus Christi, Texas went home to our Lord on Friday, October 5, 2018. She was surrounded by all of her family during her journey to Heaven.
Yolanda was born on October 20, 1959 to Luis & Herminia Alvarado. She graduated from W.B. Ray High School in 1979. She enjoyed drawing, dancing, listening to music, chatting with friends and spending time with her kids and grandkids. Yolanda will always be remembered for her big beautiful smile, her contagious laugh, her funny jokes and mainly her unconditional love. Yolanda was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, daughter, sister, aunt, niece, cousin and friend to so many. Yolanda is preceded in death by her grandfather, Eduardo G. Alvarado, Ricardo Alvarado Sr., Ramona Alvarado, Antonio Alvarado, Norma Alvarado Soto, Eginio Solomon III, and her youngest grandson, Romeo Alvarado.
Yolanda is survived by her parents, Luis & Herminia Alvarado; her 2 children that she loved dearly, Robert (Devonna), Lisa Alvarado; 7 grandchildren, Jason, Alexis (Jason), Alizae, Johnny, Robert, Ivyonna, Rolan, 3 great-grandchildren, Catilaya, Jaxton and Jeremiah; her 12 siblings, Arnold Aguirre, Adela (Randy) Pagano, Luis Jr. (Debbie) Alvarado, Jose (Amy) Alvarado, Sylvia (Tito) Hernandez, Nancy (Jarred) Peabody, Hermina (Ramsey) Rangel, Diana (Jarred) Gomez, Ulysses (Adriana) Alvarado, Grace Alvarado, Javier (Lisa) Alvarado, April (Dan) Oliver and many many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. on Sunday, October1 4, 2018 at Corpus Christi Funeral Home with a Prayer Service to be held at 7:00 p.m. that same evening.
A Funeral Service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, October 15, 2018 at Corpus Christi Funeral Home.
Interment to follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery.
