William "Billy" Brownlee Jr.

William L. “Billy - Bill” Brownlee, Jr., passed away September 28, 2023. He was born on October 17, 1955 to William Brownlee, Sr. and Doris Cain in Greenville, TX. He was raised in Fort Worth, TX and he graduated from Haltom City High School in 1974. He enlisted in the United States Coast Guard and served from 1974-1977, obtaining the rank of E2.

He married his wife, Marcia Brothers, of 32 years on August 17, 1993. Billy retired from the Auto Industry in 2020. He was a loving father, son brother and uncle, and will be remembered for his love of laughter, sense of adventure and devotion to his family. He enjoyed fishing, motorcycle racing, yardwork and gardening, playing in the pool, stock car racing and just life in general; and will also be remembered for his smile and bright blue eyes.

Billy is preceded in death by his son, Chance Chevy Brownlee; father, William L. Brownlee, Sr.; mother, Doris Cain Brownlee and sister, Phyllis Zertuche.

Billy is survived by his wife, Marcia Brownlee; son, Nathan Brownlee of Alvarado, TX; Granddaughter, Kaitlyn Bayley Brownlee of Alvarado, TX; Grandsons, Kristopher Blake and River Sage Brownlee of Granbury, TX, along with numerous nieces and nephews.

A Memorial Service will be held at 1:00pm on Friday, October 13, 2023 at Coastal Bend State Veterans Cemetery will Military Honors.
