Wardine Williams, age 82, passed away peacefully July 20, 2021. She was born March 17, 1939, in Corpus Christi, Texas to Esther Mae Watley.
Wardine was a dedicated wife and mother first and foremost. She treasured her children and embraced every moment with them. She had a vivacious personality and always made people around her laugh. She made friends everywhere she went and brought a smile to the faces of those whom she came across. She truly was a ray of sunshine to everyone who she crossed paths with.
Her life was a living example of the Bible verse, Luke 10:27 – “You shall love the lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength and with all your mind, and your neighbor as yourself.”
Wardine is survived by her loving husband Rev. Joseph Williams Sr., Her Sister Lisa (Jim) Lawhon, Children: Freddie (Pat) Patterson, Brenda (David) Tyler, Kelvin Bibbs, Joseph (Tammie) Williams Jr., Esther (Rev. Ray) Williams and Dora (Antonio) Brown; along with 16 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.
