Wanda Sherman

Wanda Sherman, age 71, passed away on January 1, 2021. Wanda was born on December 22, 1949 to Jon Mabry and Lawee Newton. She was a loving wife to her husband Willie Sherman of 34 years, a caring mother, and wonderful grandmother.

Wanda enjoyed working in her yard, she was always willing to help others. Wanda will always be remembered for her kind heart and loving personality. She will be missed dearly by all who knew her.
Wanda is preceded in death by her parents Jon Mabry and Lawee Newton.

Wanda is survived by her husband Willie Sherman, son Jon Thrower, granddaughter Anaya Thrower and dog Dallas.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 P.M. until 9:00 P.M., Wednesday, January 6, 2021 at Corpus Christi Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held at 12:30 P.M., Thursday, January 7, 2021 at Corpus Christi Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Coastal Bend State Veterans Cemetery.
