Wanda Faye Heslip

Wanda Faye Huff-Heslip “Tit”, age 64, passed away on May 6, 2021. Wanda was born on December 11, 1956 in Corpus Christi, Texas to Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Huff Sr. She was baptized at St. John Baptist Church in Corpus Christi, Texas on August 4, 1985 and thereafter became a member of St. Paul United Methodist Church in Corpus Christi, Texas She graduated from Foy Moody High School in 1974 and went on to receive numerous degrees and certificates from Platt College and Del Mar College. Wanda had two children, Quincy and Kristen.
Wanda was employed by the Corpus Christi Police Department where she served as a Communications Clerk until she retired in 2013. She enjoyed spending time with her grand and great-grand kids, children, siblings and father. Wanda took great pride in loving and serving others, no matter the circumstance. She will always be remembered for her laughter, devotion to family and strong will being.
Wanda is preceded in death by her mother, Ruby Jewel Huff, brother, Albert Adams and sister-in-law, Sherry A. Adams.
Wanda is survived by her father, Raymond Huff Sr. (Florence), Son, Quincy Lee McGill (Jennifer), daughter, Kristen Heslip, grandchildren, Vandrea Sandoval, Sarina Loera (Rey), Klarissa McGill (Mark), Sierra McGill, Delija McGill, Sierra Craddock-Polk, Nyla Boyce, Ameer Boyce, Myles Heslip and five great-grandchildren, Brothers, Raymond Huff Jr. (Wanda), Henry Huff Sr. (Carla), Uncles and Aunts, Fred Adams, Ora Mae Dixon, Claudine Huff, Ex-Husband, James Stanley Heslip, special nieces and nephews, Shandra Winston, Kimbra Heslip-Spears, Scottie Huff and Marcus Huff and a host of other family and friends.
Visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. on Sunday, May 16, 2021 with a prayer service at 7:00 p.m. that same evening at Corpus Christi Funeral Home. Funeral service will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Monday, May 17, 2021 at Corpus Christi Funeral Home. Interment to follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery. Repass will be held at 2937 Santa Ana St., Corpus Christi, Texas 78415.
Having the distinguished honor to serve as pallbearers are Quincy Lee McGill, Ernest McGill, Marcus Huff, Jonathan Duhart, Jonathan Winston and Henry Huff Jr. Honorary pallbearers are Ameer J. Boyce, Myles Heslip, Rey Loera and Scottie Huff.
