Walter James Duhart, age 43, passed away on Wednesday, February 12, 2014. He was born September 1, 1970 to Herbert J. and Bessie M. Duhart and raised in Corpus Christi, Texas. He graduated from Ray High School in 1986. He enjoyed DJing, cooking and traveling. He will always be remembered for his love of laughter, quiet nature, sense of adventure, devotion to family, jokes, smiles and taste for fashion.

Walter leaves to cherish his memories, his loving mother, Bessie M. Duhart, father, Herbert J. Duhart, daughters; Amanda Vela, Jacqueline, Chazerai and Dezerai Duhart, sons; David James Louelle, Davante Duhart and all other of his kids are equally loved by us. He is also survived by his siblings; Herbert James Duhart, Jr., Deborah J. Powell Duhart, Julia Ann Marshall, Tonya Duhart and Nubia Duhart, special friends; Ervin Clay and Tom Daley, Aunt, Laura Mosely, Uncles; Roger Coe, Lawrence Duhart, Tommy Henry, Willie James Henry and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be held from 1:00 P.M. until 4:00 P.M., Sunday, February 16, 2014 at Corpus Christi Funeral Home. Funeral Service will be held at 1:00 P.M., Tuesday, February 18, 2014 at Corpus Christi Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Rose Hill Memorial Park.

Pallbearers will be Terry Powell, Ronald Henry, Julian Clay, Davante Duhart, Tommy Henry and Ervin Clay. Honorary Pallbearers will be Herbert Duhart, James Duhart and Jalen Pikford.
