Obituary
Vincent Rydolph Henderson (57), of Corpus Christi, TX, passed away on September 3, 2021 in Houston, TX.
Vincent was born in CC, TX to Leonard Sr. and Linda Henderson on June 28, 1964. He went to school at Roy Miller High School where he graduated in 1982. He worked as a Longshoremen and a Refinery sub-contractor for over 20 years during that time he was also a self-employed handyman contractor.
Vincent was always known for being a hard-working man. He will always be remembered for his diligent work ethic. No matter where he went, he knew everyone, and he showed a tremendous amount of love for everyone. Vincent always had your back and was a friend to everyone. He will be deeply missed by everyone who knew his name.
Vincent is preceded in death by his parental grandparents Johnson Henderson and Margret Henderson Keys, his maternal grandmother Louise Butler and several relatives of the Beasley and Perry family.
Vincent is survived by his Parents Leonard Henderson Sr. and Linda Henderson: his Children Vincent Lamar Matthews, Tara Matthews, Tairis Matthews and Courtney Henderson: his Siblings Leonard Henderson Jr., Barry Henderson, Lisa Henderson Shelton, Milton (Stacey) Henderson and Krystal Henderson. Vincent was a loving grandfather to 6 grandchildren, a special niece Heavenly Robinson and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held from 5:00 PM until 9:00 PM, Friday, September 10, 2021 at the Seaside Reid Chapel. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM, Saturday, September 11, 2021 at St. Matthews Baptist Church 1101 Waco St. Corpus Christi, Texas. Interment will follow at 2:30 PM at Rose Hill Memorial Park.
Having the distinguished honor to serve as pallbearers are; Charlie Thompson, Larry Ellison, Charles Epps, Wayne Sullivan, Cody Lewis and Maxwell Waldron.
Honorary Pallbearers will be; Barry Henderson, Milton Henderson, Leonard Henderson Jr, Joe Lister, Edward Lister, Stephen Ellison, Thomas Lott, Marvin Phoenix, Milfred Topsy and Allen Coleman.
