Victoria Alaniz Salazar, age 91, passed away on January 1, 2018. She was born on January 4, 1926 to Hijinio and Maria C. Alaniz. She will be remembered for her quiet nature, her simplicity, and her devotion to her family.
Mrs. Salazar is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Raymond H. Salazar, and her children; Maria Alicia Salazar, Raymond Salazar Jr., John Ray Salazar, and Richard Salazar. She is survived by her daughter, Linda (Gary) Hickok, and seven grandchildren; Marisa J. Vera, Sharisse L. Leal, Raymond Salazar III, Jonathan L. Salazar, Terry Daniel Salazar, Maureen Salazar, and Marlene (David) Salazar Hedgebeth, and eight great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, January 4, 2018 at Reid Chapel, Seaside Memorial Park and Funeral Home, 4357 Ocean Drive, Corpus Christi, Texas. A Rosary prayer service will be held at 7:00 p.m. that same evening at Reid Chapel.
A funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, January 5, 2018, at Reid Chapel. Interment will follow at Rose Hill Memorial Park, 2731 Comanche Street, Corpus Christi, Texas.
