Victoria Llanes Bernal

Victoria Llanes Bernal, age 98, passed away on Friday, September 14, 2018.
Victoria was born on March 23, 1920 to Vicente Llanes and Guadalupe Flores. She was a very warm and welcoming person who never spoke an unkind word. Victoria enjoyed spending time with and cooking for her family. Her positive perspective of life will always be remembered and missed.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Juan A Bernal; son, Alberto Bernal; two sisters, Monica Stone, Esperanza Lopez; 3 brothers, Antonio Llanes, Frutoso Llanes, Nicolas Llanes and Thomas Llanes.
Victoria is survived by her children, Guadalupe Balboa, Adelia Lopez (Juan) Juan A. Bernal (Nevolena), Elina B. Magallan; 17 grandchildren, numerous great grand and great-great grandchildren; sisters, Ella Enriquez, Claudia Larion, Genoveva Longoria, Mary Strechlau (Wesley), Herlinda Ibarra and Delfina Llanes.
Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. on Wednesday, September 19, 2018 at Corpus Christi Funeral Home with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. the same evening.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. on Thursday, September 20, 2018 at St. Joseph Catholic Church.
Pallbearers will be her grandchildren, John Magallan, Juan A. Bernal III, Joshua Magallan, Roberto Monreal Jr., Robert Monreal Sr., and Tony Balboa.
Interment will follow at Rose Hill Memorial Park.
