Victor D. Canales, 74, passed away on Wednesday, June 1, 2022. Victor was born on May 14, 1948 in Corpus Christi to Victor and Antonia Canales. He attended Roy Miller High School.
Victor was employed by several local dealerships as a master mechanic. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, dancing and going to the bingo. Victor will always be remembered for his sense of adventure, devotion to his family and being a great friend to all. He was a loving son, brother, cousin and uncle.
Victor is preceded in death by his parents Victor and Antonia Canales, paternal and maternal grandparents.
Victor is survived by his children, Victor D. Canales II of California, Victor J. Canales of Corpus Christi, brother and sisters, Benita (Richard) Robles of Pasadena, Texas, Cookie (Rudy) Montez of Houston, Texas, Dolores (Dwight) Jennings of Crosby, Texas, Jesse (Mary) Canales of Alvin, Texas, Diana (Justo) Pena of La Marque, Texas, Santa (Ricky) Benavides and Laurie Lynn Canales both of Corpus Christi, Texas, several nieces and nephews including, Daniel Ramirez, Micheal Felix, Hailey Felix, Isabella Felix, Matthew Felix, Michelle Benavides, Ava Benavides all of Corpus Christi, Texas.
Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. on Wednesday, June 8, 2022 at Corpus Christi Funeral Home with a rosary to be held at 7:00 p.m. that same evening. Services will conclude that evening.
