Valentina Isabel Salazar, age 69, passed away on Saturday, August 25, 2018.
Valentina Isabel was born on February 14, 1949 to Maria Lopez.
Valentina enjoyed gardening, watching her novelas and cooking with her kids and grandkids. She will always be remembered for always cooking for us, making sure we weren’t leaving without eating and for talking our ears off when we went over for planting flowers, she loved her roses. When we were little we would always make cookies with our thumb print in the middle filled with jelly. She loved all her grandchildren.
Valentina Isabel was a loving mother and grandmother. Valentina Isabel is preceded in death by her son, Jose Angel Salazar and her granddaughter, Maria Eufemia Martinez.
Valentina Isabel is survived by her husband, Jose M. Salazar; her children, Carmen Martinez, Jesus Martinez (JoAnn), Maria Salazar (Valentin Garcia), Crystal Salazar (Ramsey Barron) and Julio Salazar; and her granddaughter, Lilly; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 1:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. on Wednesday, September 5, 2018 at Corpus Christi Funeral Home with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. that same evening.
