Uvence Gil passed away July 20th, 2020 at age 77. Uvence was a loving father, grandfather, and friend. He was the husband of Eufemia Gil. They shared 51 years together.
Born in Corpus Christi, Texas on April 8th, 1943 he was the son of Marcelino Gil and Sara Gil. He attended Roy Miller High School, went to machinist school in Baytown, and graduated from welding school at Del Mar College. He started Gil's Welding - his own welding business in 1972.
He enjoyed watching football, drinking a few beers, and being outside with his dog, Poncho. He will be remembered for being very creative, being able to fix anything, loving animals, making the best barbecue and always making his family laugh.
He is survived by his wife, Eufemia Gil; children, Teena Rodriguez, Michael Gil, Eli Gil, and step daughter Chrissy Vigil; grandchildren, Taylor Molano, Michael Anthony Gil, Mathew Gil, Megan Gil, Gabriella Vigil, Sophia Vigil, Mia Vigil, Anthony Lozano, Joe Ramirez and numerous friends.
