Trinidad S Hoyt

Our loving mother, sister, aunt and grandmother, Trinidad Salinas Hoyt, age 92, embraced our Heavenly father on December 5, 2021. She was born on May 26, 1929 in Zapata, Texas to Federico and Adela Salinas.
She will always be remembered as a soft-spoken person who had a sweet soul and was very kind. She loved her family very much and enjoyed reading her Spanish version of the King James Bible at the kitchen table every day. She loved God and raised her children with Godly words.
Trinidad is preceded in death by her husband, Jose Arsuaga Hoyt, daughter, Thelma Salinas, parents, Federico and Adela Salinas, sisters, Margarita Figueroa, Evangelista Aguilar, Maria Aguilar and Irene Canales, brothers, Federico, Matias and Guadalupe Salinas.
Trinidad is survived by her three sons, Leonard S. Hoyt (Elva), Louis Hoyt and Rudy Hoyt (Cathy), one brother, Abel Salinas, ten grandchildren, fifteen great-grandchildren, four great-great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m on Monday, December 13, 2021, with a prayer service at 7:00 p.m. that same evening at Corpus Christi Funeral Home. Funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, December 14, 2021 at Corpus Christi Funeral Home. Interment to follow at Rose Hill Memorial Park.
