Tomas A. Trujillo, 81, passed away at home on July 2, 2017 and has joined his loving wife, Viola.
He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather. He was a Veteran in the US Army who served his country proudly. He is a 29 - year retiree from the Corpus Christi Army Depot where he worked as an Aircraft Inspector. He was an avid golfer and a member of the Pan American Golf Association for many years. He also loved to try his luck at the casinos! He will be truly missed by his family, friends and all who knew and loved him.
Tomas is preceded in death by his adoring wife, Viola, they were married for over fifty years.
Tomas is survived by his three children, Irene T. Garcia (Joe), Tommy A. Trujillo, Jr. (Terry), Sandra Mayorga (Jesse) and 10 grandchildren, Joe (Karmel), Jacob, and Sara Garcia, Jesse Jr. (Kathryn), Justin (Leslie),  Jason Mayorga and Tommy Trujillo Jr., Victoria Trujillo, Kristian (Joseph) Barton and Kris Buhidar.  Two precious great grandchildren Augustine Garcia and Ava Mayorga were fortunate to love their great grandfather, Tomas.
Pall bearers will be his six grandsons.
Visitation will be held from 5:00 P.M. until 9:00 P.M., Wednesday, July 5, 2017 at Corpus Christi Funeral Home with The Holy Rosary to be recited at 7pm that same evening.
A funeral mass will be celebrated at 12 Noon, Thursday, July 6, 2017 Ss. Cyril and Methodious Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Seaside Memorial Park.
