Teresita Ortiz

Teresita Ortiz, age 65, passed away on January 05, 2021. She was born on November 21, 1955 to Encarnation Hernandez and Maria Estela Gomez. Teresita was employed by Cyclone Enterprise. She enjoyed bingo, fishing and playing the lottery. She also took great pride in being a second Mom to most of her nieces and nephews. She will always be remembered for her devotion to family and love of laughter. Teresita was a loving daughter, sister, wife, Mom, aunt, niece, cousin and friend.
Teresita is preceded in death by her fathers, Encarnation Hernandez and Jose A. Moreno Sr., daughter, Estrellita Ortiz, sister, Anna Marie Watson, brother, Jose A. Moreno Jr., and her grandparents.
Teresita is survived by her mother, Maria Estela Moreno, lifetime partner, Ranulfo “Gordo” Rodriguez, siblings, Victor Hernandez, Edwardo (Cynthia) Hernandez, Rosalinda M. (Lupe) Alejo, Apolina Moreno, Jesus (Lorraine) Moreno, Martin Hernandez and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. on Thursday, January 14, 2021 at Corpus Christi Funeral Home, followed by the recitation of the Rosary at 7:00 p.m. that same evening. Funeral service will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, January 15, 2021 at Corpus Christi Funeral Home. Interment to follow at Rose Hill Memorial Park.
Due to COVID limitations, the services will be limited to 75 people. Masks are required. A live stream of the services will be available for friends and family to view from their home.
Having the distinguished honor to serve, as pallbearers are Marcus Colunga, Eddie Hernandez Jr., Jorge Alba, Jose Alba, Jesse Moreno Jr., Jeremy Rogers, Jose Moreno III and Bino Garcia.
