Teresa DeJesus Ruiz Torres

Teresa DeJesus Ruiz Torres, age 51, passed away Saturday, June 5, 2021. She was born in San Luis Potosi, Mexico, on April 10, 1970 to Cecilio Ruiz Rodriguez and Vicenta Torres Zuniga.

Teresa was a loving mother, wife and grandmother. She enjoyed spoiling her family and was always happy and she was always willing to help everyone in need. She loved gardening and crocheting.

She is survived by her husband Severiano Rodriguez, children Cristina Rodriguez (Humberto Ramirez), Norma Rodriguez (Javier Pena), Sandra Rodriguez (Ruben Hernandez), Luis Rodriguez (Lucero), Carmen Rodriguez, 10-grandchildren, 10-brothers and sisters, parents Vicenta Torres and Cecilio Ruiz.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 PM until 9:00 PM on Tuesday, June 8, 2021 at Corpus Christi Funeral Home with a rosary to be recited at 7:00 PM that same evening. A Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 AM on Wednesday, June 9, 2021 at Our Lady of Pilar Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Rose Hill Memorial Park.
