Son-Ae Vasquez, age 70, passed away on May 13, 2018.
Son-Ae was born in Taegu, S. Korea. She was a member of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church. She will be missed by all who knew her. She is preceded in death by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Hong.
She is survived by her husband of 50 years, Miguel Vasquez Jr.; her children Manuel H. Vasquez (Crystal Bagwell), Angelina Body (Richard); grandchildren Miguel Vasquez, Joshua Vasquez, Joel Vasquez, Andrew Body, Richard Body Jr., Sharaya Body; great granddaughter Amaya Body; mother-in-law Esther Vasquez; numerous nieces, nephews, sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law.
Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. on Thursday, May 17, 2018 at Corpus Christi Funeral Home with a Rosary to be recited at 7 pm that same evening.
A Funeral Mass will be held at 12:30 p.m. on Friday, May 18, 2018 at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church.
Interment to follow at Coastal Bend State Veterans Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be her grandsons and 2 cousins Herman Vasquez and Michael Tagle.
