Samuel David Marshall, 70, passed away on December 26, 2017 in Corpus Christi, Texas.
He was born on September 28, 1947 in Corpus Christi, Texas. He was a veteran of the U.S Navy, Seamen First Class, E3 rank class from June 1966-March 1970 and was stationed in Philippines, Subic Bay. He married Elena on December 29, 1970.
He was met in Heaven by his Father, Gordon and his grandson, Zachary and other loved ones. Sam was much loved by his family and will be missed dearly. The Jokester always making us laugh. His time on earth was too short, but he lived a life full of family and love. He leaves behind a great legacy of his kindness and caring for his family. Ahui Hou-Until we meet again.
He is survived by his wife, Elena; 3 daughters, Mary Jane, Kristine, Joy; grandchildren Krystal, Jabin, Mazen, River; his mother, Dorothy Marshall; sister and brother, Cindy Looper and Lester Marshall; son-in-laws Denis Aubut, Cesar Rodriguez, and daughter-in-law Tamara Smith.
A Prayer Service will be held at 6 pm on Monday, January 1, 2018 at Corpus Christi Funeral Home.
A Graveside Service will be held at 9 am on Tuesday, January 2, 2018 at Coastal Bend State Veterans Cemetery.
