Salvador Cabrera Guerra, age 91, passed away on May 14, 2018 in Corpus Christi, Texas.
Salvador was born on January 24, 1927 to Jose and Jesusa Cabrera Guerra. Salvador was employed by Curries Seed Company and Fred Heldenfels. He enjoyed participation in playing lottery tickets, yard work and spending time out at the ranch. He will always be remembered for talking about the old days and spending time with family. Salvador was a loving father, grandfather and uncle. Salvador Guerra is preceded in death by his parents Jose & Jesusa C. Guerra, wife Audelia H. Guerra, son Salvador Guerra Jr., brothers Roberto Guerra, Raul Guerra, Jose Guerra, sisters Maria Moreno, Ofelia Zuniga, daughter-in-law Sofia Guerra.
Salvador Guerra is survived by his loving children, Raul Guerra (Cecila), Manuel Guerra (Delia), Janie Hernandez (Pete), Robert Guerra (Gracie), Johnny Guerra (Cynthia), Beatriz Garcia (Chris), Alicia Rosas (Manuel); 15 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren, 5 great great grandchildren; 2 sisters and 2 brothers.
Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. on Sunday, May 20, 2018 at Corpus Christi Funeral Home with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. that same evening.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, May 21, 2018 at
Our Lady of Perpetual Catholic Church.
Interment to follow at San Pedro Cemetery in Beeville, Texas.
