Ruben Acosta, age 60, passed away on Thursday, January 17, 2019 in Corpus Christi, Texas.
Ruben was born on May 17, 1958 to Apolonio Acosta, Esperanza Zaragosa Banda. He was an avid Dallas Cowboys Fan. He enjoyed drawing and spending time with family. He is preceded in death by his father and granddaughter, Lilly’Ann Gonzalez.
He is survived by his wife Margaret G. Acosta; three children, Christopher Trevino (Stephanie Longbine), Adriana Acosta (Darren Prado), Bernadette Acosta; five grandchildren; his mother Esperanza Zaragosa Banda, two brothers Jose Godines, Ramiro Banda (Melissa) and two sisters Brenda Fajardo and Elma Acosta Rodriguez.
A Rosary and Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, January 25, 2019 at St. Joseph Catholic Church.
Interment will follow at Seaside Memorial Park.
