Rosa Alma Castaneda

Rosa “Cindy” Castaneda, age 54, passed away on June 19, 2022. She was born on December 1, 1967 to Samuel and Guadalupe De La Rosa. She graduated from Mary Carroll High School in 1986. She enjoyed spending time with her family, cooking, watching and cheering for the Dallas Cowboys, spoiling her nieces and nephews. She will always be remember for her love of laughter, devotion to family, sense of humor, use of vocabulary words, fearlessness, kindness, loyalty and wisdom. Cindy was a loving daughter, sister, aunt, grandma.

Cindy is preceded in death by her mother Guadalupe De La Rosa.

She is survived by her husband Presley Flores, step-children, Carlos Flores (Janet), Joe Flores (Ashley), step-grandchildren, Lizette, Daniella, Mila, Levi, brothers and sisters, Magda Salinas, Samuel De La Rosa Jr. (Shima), Tony De La Rosa, Marta Gomez (Martin), Daniel De La Rosa, Liza Garcia (Jason), nieces and nephews, Roy, Denise, Fabiola, Brittany, Michael, Alyssa, Ashley, Mariah, Jason Jr., Nathaniel, Julian and Jonathan.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. on Sunday, June 26, 2022, at Corpus Christi Funeral Home with a Rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m. that same evening. A Funeral Service will be held at Corpus Christi Funeral Home on Monday, June 27, 2022, at 1:00 p.m. Interment to follow at Rose Hill Memorial Park.

Having the distinguished honor to serve as pallbearers are Daniel De La Rosa, Nathaniel De La Rosa, Jason Garcia, Jason Garcia Jr., Sergio Salinas Jr. and Sylvester Salinas. Honoray pallbearer is Daniel De La Rosa.
