Robert Medina

Robert Medina, age 64, passed away on April 14, 2021. He was born on November 26, 1956 to Juan and Juanita Medina. Robert was previously employed by Brown & Root Refineries and North American Vanlines in Houston. He enjoyed fishing, playing guitar and drums, singing, music, and all sports, especially the Texans and Astros. Robert will always be remembered for his kindness and selflessness. He was a friend to everyone he met. You always knew when he entered a room. He was a loving son, caring brother, and generous and supportive Popo to Jason Lerma and Avalon Valencia.
Robert is preceded in death by his brother, Raul Medina and his nephews, A.J. Medina and Jay B. Williams III.
He is survived by his parents, Juan & Juanita Medina; his companion of 22 years, Lydia Casanova; brothers and sisters, Johnnie (Crystal) Medina, Albert (Cathy) Medina, Delia DeLosSantos and Belinda (Robert) Curiel; numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held from 5:00 PM until 9:00 PM, Tuesday, April 20, 2021 at Corpus Christi Funeral Home with a rosary to be recited at 7:00 PM that same evening. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 AM, Wednesday, April 21, 2021 at St. Joseph Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Rose Hill Memorial Park.
Having the distinguished honor to serve as pallbearers are Johnnie Medina, Albert Medina, Jason Lerma, Ronnie Montez, Anthony Gutierrez, and David Villarreal.
