Robert Cerda

Robert Cerda, age 45, passed away on June 21, 2022. He was born on October 22, 1976 to Rafael Cerda and Margarita Chavez. Robert was employed by Whataburger. He enjoyed spending time with his family, being a grandpa, cooking and barbequing. He will always be remembered for providing for his family, always willing to help his family, and going the extra mile for those who needed it. He always said, “La familia comes first!” Robert was a loving father, son, grandfather, brother, uncle and cousin.
Robert is preceded in death by his partner, Scott Klump, Juanita Chavez, Ramon Cerda, Rafael Cerda Sr., Ruben Chavez and niece, Brittany Cerda.
Left behind to cherish his memories are his son, Aric Cerda, grandchildren, Audrianna Cerda, Aric Cerda, Jr., Ayden Cerda, mother, Margarita Chavez, brother, Raulph Cerda, sister, Olga Cerda, nieces and nephews, Ezekiel Chavez, Emmanuel Chavez, Evette Chavez, Elizabeth Chavez, Margie Chavez, Michael Chavez, Robert Chavez, Annabel Chavez, Grant Taylor, Ruben Cerda, Tabatha Cerda, Margie Cerda and Rafael Cerda.
Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. on Sunday, July 17, 2022 at Reid Chapel in Seaside Memorial Park. A prayer service will be held at 7:00 p.m. that same evening. Services will conclude after prayer service.
