Ricardo Salinas, Sr., age 60, passed away on March 23, 2021. He was born on August 12, 1960 in Corpus Christi, Texas, to Enrique and Zulema Salinas. Ricardo attended and played football at Roy Miller High School. He was an avid Dallas Cowboy fan and a talented mechanic. He will be dearly missed by all who loved him. He was a loving father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother and friend.
Ricardo is preceded in death by his father, Enrique Salinas Sr., brothers, Enrique Salinas Jr., and Adam Salinas, sister, Diana S. Bautista and son, Adan Salinas.
Ricardo is survived by his mother, Zulema G. Salinas, son, Ricardo (Judy) Salinas Jr., daughters, Patricia (David) Moya, Priscilla (Toby) Ramirez, Annette Benson, mother of his children, Sally Glover, grandchildren, Amara Ramirez, Hayley Ramirez, Michael Contreras, Christian (Victoria) Estrada, Mercedes Trevino, Paris Trevino, Ricardo Salinas III, Eliana Salinas, Marcus A. Salinas, great-grandchildren, Azalea Estrada, Kyle J. Trevino Carbajal, siblings, Dora S. (Danny) Garcia, Ruben (Sonia) Salinas, Roy (Diana) Salinas, Rolando Salinas, numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. on Sunday, April 11, 2021, with a prayer service at 7:00 p.m. that same evening at Corpus Christi Funeral Home. Funeral service will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Monday, April 12, 2021 at Corpus Christi Funeral Home. Interment to follow at Memory Garden Cemetery.
Having the distinguished honor to serve, as pallbearers are Enrique Salinas Jr, Daniel G. Salinas, Christian Lee Estrada, John Michael Contreras, Toby Ramirez and Mark Olivo.
