Ricardo Gonzales Jr., age 51, passed away on April 22, 2022. He was born on December 13, 1970 to Ygnacia M. Garcia and Ricardo Gonzales.
Ricardo Gonzales Jr. didn’t have the opportunity for much formal education. He was “a jack of all trade; master of none.” For many years, he was unable to work due to health issues, but he was a hard worker in everything he did. He strived to provide for his family. He enjoyed spending quality time with his family, even if it was just sitting down and listening to some nice oldies. He had his own way of showing his love to his family; we all called it tough love. He was looked up to by many. Ricardo will always be remembered as a jokester, full of laughter, and always doing great deeds. He was a genuinely “self-made man”, he worked all his life. He was a very out spoken man who had no filter. He found problem solving a second nature.
But most of all, let me try to put everyone, including myself, at ease here, he didn’t want this to be a sad day in our lives. He really didn’t. He told me so many times and wanted me to make sure to let all of you know that too. But above it all, he fought hard but loved harder.
Ricardo Gonzales Jr. is preceded in death by his beloved son Richard Kit Kat Gonzales.
