Reynaldo Valenzuela, age 60, passed away peacefully with his family by his side on January 6, 2022. He was born August 1, 1961 in Corpus Christi, Texas to Juanita and Reynaldo Valenzuela.
Big Rey was a kind, hard worker and witty. His sense of humor was contagious and made all of us laugh. His love for family was his priority. He enjoyed having his grandchildren around. Big Rey and Lina would take them to the park, watch them have fun and at the same time listen to his music. Their safety and their needs meant the world to him. That’s who he was! All of us could lean on him any day or any time! No questions! Big Rey loved cruising in his neighborhood, passing by his friends’ houses just to show off his car, every time they got one…LOL. Big Rey always wanted to move to Corpus Christi but somehow his big heart couldn’t leave us. His battle with cancer was a journey of endurance, courageously giving it all.
Your memories will be cherished. Your legacy will live on forever. Forever in our hearts, today, tomorrow and always. RIP Big Rey, Dad, Grandpa, Son, Brother and Friend.
