Raquel Soto, age 100, passed away on Thursday, June 7, 2018 in Corpus Christi, Texas.
Raquel was born on January 11, 1918 in Zitacuaro, Mexico to Estanislao & Carmen Hernandez. She had great spirit and sense of humor. Raquel was a happy, sweet person and was always helpful.
She is survived by her daughters, Maria Anderson, Leticia Soto De Portillo; niece and nephew, Virginia, Luis Enrique Villasenor; 6 grandchildren, Enrique, Karla, Victor H., Juan Antonio Portillo, Deyanira Reyna, Andrea Aslam; 13 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild.
Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. on Sunday, June 10, 2018 at Corpus Christi Funeral Home with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. that same evening.
Viewing will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, June 11, 2018 at Corpus Christi Funeral Home with a Funeral Service to be held at 12 noon.
Interment to follow at Seaside Memorial Park.
