Ramiro Rivera

Ramiro Rivera, age 57, passed away on July 21, 2020. Ramiro was born on January 12, 1963 to Juan M. and Baudelia Rivera. He received his G.E.D. in 1994. He spent several years as a truck driver before he went on to receive an associate’s degree in Applied Science from Del Mar College in air conditioning. He enjoyed music, dancing boxing and movie flicks, such as martial arts with actors Bruce Lee or Jackie Chan. He will always be remembered for his lovable nature, sense of humor and playful personality. Ramiro was a loving father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend.
Ramiro is preceded in death by his parents, sisters and brother.
Ramiro is survived by his son, Ramiro Rivera Jr., daughter, Gisell Rivera, grandchildren; Andrick Rivera, Jordan Rivera, Isis Rivera and Aubry Rivera, sisters; Alma Contreras, Baudelia De Leon, Priscilla San Miguel and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. on Friday, July 31, 2020 at Corpus Christi Funeral Home followed by a prayer service at 7:00 p.m. that same evening. Masks are required. Services will conclude after the prayer service.
Due to COVID limitations, the prayer service will be limited to 75 people. A live stream of the service will be available for friends and family to view from their home.
