Philip Varsel Jr

Philip Varsel, Jr., age 75, passed away on June 12, 2020. He was born September 20, 1944 to Helen and Philip Varsel, Sr. He graduated High School in Chaleroy, PA. and then enlisted in the US Army. Philip served in the United States Army and earned the rank of Sergeant Major E-9. Philip enjoyed spending time with his wife, daughter, and his dog. He also liked working on computers. Philip was kind and selfless. He was simply compassionate and charitable. Philip was God’s child.
Philip is preceded in death by his parents and his siblings, Gary Varsel and Sandra Cardinal.
Philip is survived by his wife, Waltraud Varsel, his daughter, Josie Campos, one brother, Paul Varsel and his loyal companion and dog, Harley.
 Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11:30 AM on Thursday, June 25, 2020 at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Coastal Bend State Veterans Cemetery.
