Pete S. Harris Sr.

Pete S. Harris, Sr. was born December 8, 1950 in Lamesa, Tx. Pete, age 70, gained his angel wings in his home on June 6, 2021. His life would seem short to many, but those who were touched by him understood the quality of his existence. We will always remember his smile, his laughter, his jokes and most of all; his love that was enough to go around. He was a painter for many years who loved to dance, fish, hunt and bingo. He was a devoted and loving father and grandfather. He adored and loved his daughter Bridget oh so much who he solely cared for.

Pete is preceded in death by his parents, Adelina and Felix Harris, Sr. along with his brothers, George Perez, Tony Harris, Felix Harris, Jr., Roy Harris and sisters, Gloria Amaro, Janie Posada and Julia Bernal.

Pete is survived by his 4 children, Cynthia Garcia, Pete Harris, Jr., Bridget Harris, Katherine (Alfredo) Padia and the mother of his children, Juanita Harris along with 12 grandchildren, Joshua Shane Harris, Diane (Noel) Ramirez, Dominique (Pedro) Solis, David Maximo (Estephanie) Sanchez, Derek Sanchez, Ryan Harris, Ivana Harris, David Casarez, Jr., Mathew Justin Casarez, Marisol (Jessica) Soto, Jaelynn-JLO Padia, Kaylee Padia and 12 great grandchildren. He is also survived by his siblings, Juan Harris, Isabel Coronado, Josie Benavides, Adelina Harris and Olga De La Garza.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 PM until 9:00 PM, Monday, June 14, 2021 at Corpus Christi Funeral Home with a rosary to be recited at 7:00 PM that same evening. A funeral mass will be celebrated at 10:00 AM, Tuesday, June 15, 2021 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Seaside Memorial Park at 11:30 AM.

Having the distinguished honor to serve as pallbearers are: Joshua Shane Harris, David Maximo Sanchez, Derek Sanchez, Ryan Harris, David Casarez, Jr., Mathew Justin Casarez, Michael Harris and Jordan Harris.
