Pedro A Salas

Pedro "Pete" A. Salas, 93, was born on December 4th, 1924 in Wharton, Texas and passed away Saturday. April 7, 2018 in the comfort of his home surrounded by loved ones. He loved gardening and spending time outside taking care of his pets and sharing stories with family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Albino and Francisca A. Salas, six brothers and three sisters. He was the last surviving sibling of his generation.

Pedro is survived by the mother of his children, Anita V. Kurtz and was a loving father to Albino Salas, Jose Angel Salas (Marie) in San Antonio, Alicia Garcia (Bonifacio), Aida S. Guzman (Nehemias) and Blanca Stella Salas. He has eleven grand children and several great grand children and great-great grand children and numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held Monday, April 16th, 2018 from 5:00 - 7:00 p.m., the Memorial Service will follow at 7:00 p.m. at Corpus Christi Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, plants would be appreciated. The interment will be held privately for the immediate family.
