Paulina Zavala Sanchez, age 94, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Thursday, April 21, 2022. Paulina was born on April 15, 1928 to her mother Ines Cerda Velez and her father Ascension Zavala. She had 4 brothers and 3 sisters. She is preceded in death by her husband Juan Perez Sanchez, whom she was married to for 61 loving years and her son Emilio Sanchez. She enjoyed being active outdoors, gardening, and watching novelas. She loved being surrounded by family, which is where she felt most comfortable and loved. She is survived by her two daughters Leonor Sanchez, Rosa Sanchez, her four sons, Juan Sanchez, Hector Sanchez, Carlos Sanchez, and Robert Sanchez, 23 grandchildren, 68 great-grandchildren, and 9 great-great-grandchildren. She will be greatly missed by her family who adore her with all their hearts. A service will be held for Paulina, at 11:00 am on Monday, April 25, 2022, at Corpus Christi Funeral Home.
“We know that you lived a long and full life. We cannot put into words how much you will be missed, but we know that you are in a better place. It is not a goodbye but a “see you later” in heaven to a wonderful mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.”

Paulina Zavala Sánchez, de 94 años, falleció pacíficamente rodeada de su amada familia el jueves 21 de abril de 2022. Paulina nació el 15 de abril de 1928. Tenía 4 hermanos y 3 hermanas. Le precedieron en la muerte su esposo Juan Pérez Sánchez, con quien estuvo casada durante 61 amorosos años y su hijo Emilio Sánchez, su madre Inés Cerda Vélez y su padre Ascensión Zavala. Le gustaba estar activa en el jardine y de ver novelas. Le encantaba estar rodeada de familia, que es donde se sentía más cómoda y querida. Le sobreviven sus dos hijas Leonor Sánchez, Rosa Sánchez, sus cuatro hijos, Juan Sánchez, Héctor Sánchez, Carlos Sánchez y Robert Sánchez, 23 nietos, 68 bisnietos y 9 tataranietos. Su familia la extrañará mucho y la adoran con todo su corazón. Se llevará a cabo un servicio para Paulina, a las 11:00 a.m. del lunes 25 de abril de 2022, en Corpus Christi Funeral Home.
“Sabemos que viviste una vida larga y plena. No podemos expresar con palabras cuánto lo extrañaremos, pero sabemos que está en un lugar mejor. No es un adiós sino un “hasta luego” en el cielo para una maravillosa madre, abuela y bisabuela”.
