Oscar Gloria, age 52, was born on January 6, 1968 to Frances Manzano and Jose B. Gloria Sr. in Corpus Christi, Texas. Oscar died peacefully at home from natural causes. He attended Roy Miller High School in the mid 80’s.
He was a brave and courageous soul who loved eating, spending time with his mother and giving out lots of presents. Although Oscar struggled with mental illness most of his life, he always appreciated and recognized those small moments of joy that most people tend to overlook. A lesson for all to learn from Oscar.
Oscar is preceded in death by his brothers, Jesse Gloria and Xavier Gloria and sister, Carol Gloria who are welcoming him into heaven with open arms. He is survived by his mother Frances Manzano and his brothers Jeffrey, Joe, James & Cary Gloria.
Memorial Rosary and Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, October 16, 2020 while practicing social distancing at Corpus Christi Funeral Home.
