Olivia Bernal Ramirez, age 74, passed away on June 9, 2017.

She was born on April 30, 1943 to Elvira and Celestino Bernal. She graduated from Miller High School in 1962. Olivia was a crossing guard for CCISD. She loved her family, had a great sense of humor, liked to go to Game Rooms and out to eat. Olivia was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, mother-in-law, cousin and friend.

Olivia is preceded in death by her husband, Jesus H. Ramirez, 3 brothers, Max R. Bernal, Roy Bernal, Tino Bernal and her parents, Elvira Bernal and Celestino Bernal.

She is survived by her daughter, Yvonne B. Ramirez, 2 step daughters, Thelma Moore, Roseanne Ramirez, son-in-law, Eric A. Ramos, 3 grandchildren, Daniel J. Ramos, Jacob A. Ramos, Gerald Sears, Jr., 3 sisters, Elvira Cantu, Estella Pena, Emma Friend, 2 brothers, Richard Bernal, Gilbert Bernal, Brothers-in-law, Sisters-in-law, many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 P.M. until 9:00 P.M., Tuesday, June 13, 2017 at the Seaside Reid Chapel with a rosary to be recited at 7:00 P.M. that same evening. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 A.M., Wednesday, June 14, 2017 at Saint Pius X Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery.
