Obituary
Norma Diana Guerra Reyes, 68 made her journey to be with the Lord and her deceased family members on Friday February 12th 2021 in a local hospital due to covid. She was born in Hebbronville, Tx on August 21th, 1952 to parents, Onofre and Ninfa Guerra.
She was married to Rodolfo Reyes Jr. for 30 years and with their union they were blessed with three children whom they raised in Corpus Christi, Tx. She enjoyed cooking, baking, gardening, singing, watching her telenovelas and spending as much time as possible with her family. Norma will be remembered for her generous nature and sense of humor.
She was a loving mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, aunt and friend to all. She was a devoted Catholic at Holy Family Catholic Church.
Norma graduated from Foy H. Moody High School in May of 1971. She received her associates in nursing and became an LVN in 1976. She worked at various hospitals where she cared for her patients as if they were all family to her. In 1984 she turned her considerate talent to help her husband manage the family business, Gemini Printing Co. In 2011 she returned to her first passion when she joined the accounting team at Nurses on Wheels.
She is preceded in death by her parents Onofre G. Guerra and Ninfa L. Guerra, a brother Onofre Jr. and a nephew, Jesse Lopez, Jr.
Norma is survived by her children, two sons, Rodolfo Reyes III, Adrian Eric (Laura) Reyes, and a daughter Deiedre Dawn (Mariano III) Garcia, her beautiful grandchildren that she loved; Cameron Noah Reyes, Brody Hinton Reyes, Casey Liam Reyes, Roslyn Meadow Garcia, Brooklyn Willow Garcia. One Brother Mario (Mercedes) Guerra, three sisters, Anna (Guadalupe) Gutierrez, Sandra (Jesse) Lopez, Victoria (Ernest) Galvan and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM, Saturday, March 13, 2021 at Corpus Christi Funeral Home, followed by a funeral service at 2:00 PM that same afternoon. Interment will be held at a later date.
