Miguel A Ceballos

Miguel “Mike” Arturo Ceballos, age 63, passed away on April 4, 2018. He was born on January 3, 1955 to Ignacio Ceballos and Maria Ruiz. Mike graduated from Roy Miller High School in 1973, where he was a proud Miller Buccaneer cheerleader. He will be remembered for his love of the water, mind for mechanics and carefree Gypsy spirit on the open road.

Mike was employed by the United States Department of Agriculture as a Federal Grain Inspector, retiring after 44 years of loyal and dedicated service.

He always made time for his family and friends outside of work through a listening ear, lending hand and loving support.

Mike personified the values that he lived by everyday – humility, respect, forgiveness, servant leadership and love; traits exemplified by his children who hope to pass it on to his grandchildren.

He was a loving father, son, brother and uncle and is preceded in death by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Ignacio Ceballos and brother George Ceballos. He is survived by his wife Kelly Coffman Ceballos, children Michele Knight (Robin), Mike Jr., David, and Mari, grandchildren, Patrick, Tomás, Lilliana, Elliot and Drew, brothers Eloy (Esther) and Joe (Estella), and sisters Mary Dolores Roman (Rick) and Rebecca Mir (Gasper).

Visitation will be held from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm on Tuesday, April 10, 2018 at Corpus Christi Funeral Home. A rosary prayer service will be held at 7:00 pm that same evening. A funeral mass will be celebrated at 10:00 am on Wednesday, April 11, 2018 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church.
