Michelle Elizabeth Mungia

Michelle Elizabeth Mungia, age 33, passed away on April 14, 2023. She was born on May 25, 1989 to Esiquiel Mungia Jr. and Anita Rodriguez.

Michelle was employed by Gulf Coast Racing. She always enjoyed spending time with her children. My daughter loved her children and family very much and we will miss her always. Michelle was a loving mother and daughter.

Michelle is preceded in death by, paternal grandfather Esiquiel Mungia Sr., maternal grandfather Manuel B. Rodriguez and maternal grandmother Sophia L. Rodriguez.

Michelle is survived by her children, Nathen Daniel Mungia, Elizabeth Raelynn Gonzalez and Ariana Nicole Gonzalez, father, Esiquiel Mungia Jr., mother and stepfather, Anita and Rudolph Canales, paternal grandmother, Emma Mungia, brothers and sisters, Esiquiel Mungia III, Ronnie Villa, Nina Denise Rodriguez and Amanda Marie Mungia. Michelle is also survived by her nieces and nephews, Marco Antonio Cumpian, Jamie Sandoval and Jaelynn Sandoval.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Sunday, April 23, 2023 at Corpus Christi Funeral Home with a Holy Rosary at 7:00 p.m. that same evening. Funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, April 24, 2023 at Corpus Christi Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Rose Hill Memorial Park.

Having the distinguished honor to serve as pallbearers are, Christian Longoria, David Urrea, Refugio Longoria, Adan Molina, Ruben Rodriguez and Henry Rodriguez. Honorary pallbearers are, Esiquiel Mungia III, Jacob Salinas and Nathen Mungia.

Special thank you to Tricia Molina for helping me find out about all the services and arrangements I would need, Shelly Bigelow for setting up the GoFund to help pay for the funeral. Also a special thank you to anyone who donated, and visited us. We love you all.
