Michael Rene Rosas Jr.

Michael Rene Rosas Jr. was born on Thursday, December 17, 1998 to Jean Melissa Valdez and Michael Rene Rosas Sr.  He was welcomed into the gates of heaven on Wednesday, November 11, 2020, at the very young age of 21, and is now soaring with the eagles.
Michael was preceded in death by his Maternal great grandmother Margarita Rocha, Grandparents Mr. & Mrs. Sam Carpenter, grandfather Paul Brunker, his aunt, Annie Mainero , Paternal great grandparents, Estanislao and Alice A. Rosas and paternal great grandmother, Rosa Rosas
Michael is survived by his parents Jean Melissa Valdez, Damien Cardiel, his maternal grandmother JoAnn Horn (Fred), his sister Arica Hanes (Ryan), Ashley Alvarez (Dean), his brothers, Mathew Rosas and Cameron Torres.  Michael is also survived by numerous aunts and uncles who just adored him, his brother Gerald D. Palmer Jr. and his fiancé Serenity Lopez.
He is also survived by his father, Michael Rene Rosas Sr., his paternal grandmother and grandfather, Robert and Venetia Reyes, brothers, Nathanial & Jade Rosas, uncle, Joe (Priscilla) Rosas, aunts, Mary (Hector) Reyes and Bobbie Jo (Gabriel) Reyes.
Michael was a wonderful uncle to his niece Maci Jo Hanes and his nephews, Micah Paul Rodriguez, and Mathew Rosas Jr. (MJ).  Michael leaves behind all his wonderful cousins, who were all raised like brothers and sisters with him.  Michael never met a stranger who didn’t immediately like him.  Michael was a sweet, kind, considerate, respectful and a very loving person, who always strived to help other people, make them laugh, and always feel included.  Every time he entered a room, Michael’s smile would light it up.  Michael will be missed by everyone who ever had the opportunity to cross paths in his life.  His love and light will shine on brightly forever, and his memory will live in our hearts and minds, until we meet again.
Visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. on Monday, November 23, 2020 at Corpus Christi Funeral Home, with the recitation of the Rosary at 7:00 p.m. that same evening. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, November 24, 2020 at SS. Cyril & Methodius Catholic Church. Interment to follow at Rose Hill Memorial Park.
