Obituary
On August 17, 2018 the Lord received an angel, Medardo T. Villarreal, Jr. (Robert), at 74. He was born on December 16, 1943 to Medardo and Reyes Villarreal in Corpus Christi, Texas.
Robert is preceded in death by his parents, Medardo and Reyes Villarreal; brothers Mario and Ruben Villarreal and sister Graciela Mendez.
He is survived by his loving wife of 52 years, Isabel G. Villarreal; children, Sonya Sanchez (Tim), Rolando R. Villarreal (Gisele Freeman); 5 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren; sisters, Hermalinda Alvarez, Yolanda Flores (his twin), Rosa Alvarez; brothers, Saul Villarreal, Gilberto Villarreal, Isauro Mendez; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
He retired as a welder from Garrett Construction and Proco Inc. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather, brother, uncle and friend to many. He enjoyed his family, barbecuing, sports (Cowboys), music, dance and had a great sense of humor and will be deeply missed by all.
Visitation will be held Monday, August 20, 2018 from 5:00 to 9:00pm at Corpus Christi Funeral Home with a rosary at 7:00pm.
Funeral Mass on Tuesday, August 21, 2018 at 10:00am at Holy Family Catholic Church.
Interment to follow at Seaside Memorial Park.
