Max Alejandro Ruiz, age 25, passed from this life into eternal life on Thursday, March 25. 2021.
Max was born in Corpus Christi, TX on March 19, 1996 to parents Annette M. Ruiz and Jorge Ruiz.
He is preceded in death by his great grandfather Reynaldo Leal, great aunts Roseana Longoria and Katy Deleon, great uncle Reynaldo Leal Jr. and cousins Reynaldo Deleon and Riko Rodriguez.
Max is survived by his parents Annette Ruiz (Carlos Sanchez) and Jorge Ruiz, his two sisters Crystal (Edward) Jaimes and Maria Camila Ruiz Velez, four brothers, Caden Joe Sanchez, Anton Esteban Ruiz, Joseph Gustavo Ruiz Velez, and Jorge Ruiz Velez, his grandparents Augustine and Amelia Balboa, great-grandmother Beatriz P. Leal, nieces and nephews Edward III, Elijah, Eliana and Emerie Jaimes, Aunt Rosaena Balboa, uncle Augustine Balboa III, and numerous relatives and friends that were like family.
Max graduated from Foy H. Moody High School in 2014. He was an avid guitar player and an amazing musician. He loved music, movies, art and all things nostalgia. Max lived a life with purpose and had a passion and drive that could not be matched. He had the most energetic soul and a smile that could light up the darkest of rooms. He was a friend to all and a stranger to none. Max will be missed terribly by all he knew.
Visitation will be held at 2:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 3, 2021 at Corpus Christi Funeral Home, 2409 Baldwin Blvd, Corpus Christi, TX 78405, with a Prayer Service beginning at 6:00 p.m. that same evening. Masks are required.
