Matt Juan Garcia, age 29, passed away on September 11, 2017, in Corpus Christi, Texas.
Matt was born on August 03, 1988, to Mathew and Idalia Garcia. Matt ‘s passion during his free time was skateboarding. He was a great son with a kind heart, who was well liked by many. He was a 2006 graduate of Moody High School. He worked as a mechanic at Matt’s Auto Service. Matt lived life to the fullest and enjoyed spending time with his nephews. He is preceded in death by his mother Idalia Garcia, grandfathers Juan Saenz and Matias Garcia.
Matt is survived by his father Mathew Garcia, siblings Roel Navarro, Amy Garcia, Annie Vasquez (Rene), Ashley Garcia (Joe Parker); grandmothers Lucia Saenz and Hijinia Garcia; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, uncles, aunts, and cousins.
Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. on Thursday, September 14, 2017, at Corpus Christi Funeral Home with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. that same evening.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, September 15, 2017, at Holy Family Catholic Church.
Interment to follow at Memory Gardens.
