Mary McConnell Fowler

Mary McConnell Fowler, age 71, passed away on Dec. 31, 2020.  She was born on July 29, 1949 in Cairo, Illinois to Dixie Beauton Beasly McConnell and Robert Frayser McConnell.

Mary worked as a beautician and massage therapist.  She was dedicated to relieving the aches and pains of others through her strong healing hands.  

She enjoyed gardening, cooking, music, dancing, movies and spending time with family and friends.  She was a loving and devoted grandmother to her two grandchildren, who she loved more than anything else in the world.  She lived life to the fullest and will always be remembered for her love of laughter and fun-loving adventurous personality.  
Her devotion and faith in God were deeply important to her.  She will be missed by all that knew her.

Mary is preceded in death by her son, Frank Spencer Cavanaugh Jr., mother Dixie Beauton Beasley, father Robert Frayser McConnell, brother Donald Earl (Barbara) McConnell, half-brother Robert Frayser McConnell Jr and great-niece Jennifer Nicole Bradley.

Mary is survived by her son, Robert (Melissa) Cavanaugh, grandchildren Elijah and Isabella Cavanaugh, sister Dixie McConnell (Joe) Ferguson, nephew Derek Ferguson and nieces Donna McConnell Bradley, Sheila McConnell Tiberi, Pattie McConnell Love and Nancy McConnell Lilie.

Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, January 15, 2021 at Seaside Memorial Park.
