Martin Hugo DeLaFuente III

Martin Hugo DeLaFuente III was called to serve in God’s Army on November 6, 2021 at the young age of 36.  Martin was born to Melissa Garcia and Martin DeLaFuente Jr on March 21, 1985 and on February 14, 1990 became a son to Alfredo “Pops” Garcia.  He was his Nana’s, Dora DeLeon, pride and joy from the moment he arrived and she made sure everyone knew it!  

Martin entered into a lifetime of love on July 18, 2018 with his dream girl Jennifer Marie DeLaFuente, and devoted himself to her forever-on February 29, 2020 when they exchanged vows in front of God and BeetleJuice.

Martin was welcomed at Heaven’s Gates by his 2 loving grandfathers, Melchor Martinez Jr. and Valentin DeLeon.

Martin is watching over his wife Jennifer Marie DeLaFuente and their beautiful children, Kadence Mirage Mendez, Martin Hugo DeLaFuente IV, Keira Eryz Winterroth, Ava Rayne DeLaFuente and Kassidee Peyton Winterroth, his mom Melissa and his pop’s Alfredo Garcia,  Nana Dora DeLeon, and his siblings Freddie (Marla) Garcia, Amanda (Nicholas) Fonseca, Chelsea (Matthew) Williams and Nick Garcia as well as his nieces Berlynn and Lana and nephews Jr. and Acen and all of his aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

Martin took pride in everything he did.  He was an incredible husband, father, son and friend.  He was an amazing personal chef to his wife and children.  He was also the biggest fan of America’s Team, The Dallas Cowboys.  

Martin had the most wonderful smile and such an amazing presence.  He lived life to the fullest every single day and he was and will continue to be completely surrounded by love.

Visitation will be held from 5pm-9pm on Wednesday, November 17, 2021 at Corpus Christi Funeral Home with a remembrance service to begin at 7pm that same evening. Martin’s life will be celebrated on Thursday, November 18, 2021 at Corpus Christi Funeral Home
at 10am. Interment to follow at Rose Hill Memorial Park.

Having the distinguished honor to serve, as pallbearers are Freddie Garcia Jr, Nick Garcia, Nick Fonseca, Alex Gonzales, Raymond Salinas and Aaron Solis. Honorary pallbearer will be Jr Garcia.
